Language School by the Sea
So, why not use your holiday in St Ives to start learning German or
improve your skills with a lesson by the seaside? Informal and relaxed.
PCs and the internet, newspapers, magazines, beaches & the great outdoors, arts & crafts, restaurants, shops.
Topics covered: As agreed with you.
What you get:
Group workshops - one week 5 x 3 hours - runs from (3) 2 learners minimum.
One-to-one and two-to-one - one week 5 x 2 hours plus extra contact time at my discretion.
Conversation is key here. 'Sprechen ist das A und O'! We brush up on the grammar as we go along. This is a very sociable course based on learning by doing and on sharing experiences - all done in the most beautiful and safe environment.
Some of the things you'll be doing when 'learning by doing':
It all depends on your level: write an email and/or a letter. Walk & Talk while sightseeing, shell seeking & beach cleaning and enjoy the beautiful Cornish countryside, all the while talking in German. Go shopping in the supermarket, cook together. Get a private tour of the Tate Gallery St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum - in German. Play & Learn: let's create something together learning the terms around the activity, either as an arts & crafts session, looking at advertising and creating an ad with captions and body text plus image in German; I'm open to your suggestions!
All study materials included.
Extras: Free entry to Tate St Ives & Barbara Hepworth Museum worth £14 courtesy of Englishplus.
